Cowtown Loves Animal Shelter Pets (CLASP) would like to thank all of you for helping us raise $2780 in donations during the North Texas Giving Day event!  We are very grateful for all your support!  CLASP will quality for additional bonus funds but I’m not sure how much that will be or exactly when it will happen.

In a landslide day of giving, the sixth annual North Texas Giving Day exceeded its own national giving day record by raising more than $26.3 million in 18 hours, surpassing 2013 results by more than $1 million. Community-wide events, nonprofit performances and a groundswell of support led to widespread buzz and excitement. The staggering number of more than 98,000 donations exceeded last year. This year, 1,580 nonprofits benefitted.

Thank you to everyone on N TX Giving Day, who not only supported Cowtown Loves Animal Shelter Pets, but so many deserving charities in our area! I was amazed to see so many charities and rescues that I’d never heard of and the out pore of support to all of them. This just proves that TEXAS is a caring and giving state when it comes to helping those in need.

These funds will be applied to our Passion4Paws program to assist families in financial need to get their pet spayed/neutered and vaccinated all in an effort to reduce pet overpopulation and to keep pets in the home and off the streets and out of the shelters.  Thank you all for opening your hearts and your credit cards to support CLASP. Please visit us at the Petco in Hurst to see our cats/kittens in need of homes.
