Welcome to Cowtown Loves Animal Shelter Pets, Inc. (CLASP)!   We are a non-profit organization run solely by volunteers dedicated to the welfare of animals.

Our goal is to work toward reducing the homeless pet population by working with animal shelters, rescue organizations and the general public to assist with re-homing, spaying/neutering and other medical and general care for animals in need. We achieve this by providing education and/or resources to keep the pet in its current home; rescuing and adopting animals in need; providing financial assistance for medical and/or general care; and educating both owners and potential adopters of the responsibility of pet ownership.

Rescue and Adoptions

We currently have access to a facility such as Petsmart, Petsense or Petco where we adopt out homeless pets that we had rescued, or in some cases showcase a pet that is in need of a new home, in lieu of going to a shelter. We also have a foster program for rescued animals who are either too young or sick to be adopted. We are always in need of volunteers and foster parents!

Passion 4 Paws

Our “Passion4Paws” program is designed to provide low cost or funded vetting such as spay/neuter, vaccinations, micro chipping, and city registration to pets in homes of city residents who cannot afford these services. Such residents may be low income, handicapped, senior citizens, unemployed, etc. This may also include, when in need, help with minor medical issues for the same residents. LEARN MORE
